Public Works Supervisor
Company: City of Sonora
Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs, schedules, reviews, evaluates, and supervises staff performing construction, modification, maintenance, repair, of City infrastructure, including buildings, parks, streets, storm water drainage systems and City cemeteries; provides technical input for assigned facilities maintenance and related projects and programs; provides assistance to the City Administrator; and performs related work as required.
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Equivalent to graduation from high school and five (5) years of responsible semi-skilled construction, maintenance, or repair or general construction experience; including one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience. An associate degree is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of a valid Class C California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
