Responsibilities:
Process A/P and A/R transactions, including department and expense classification
Enter, reconcile, and resolve transaction discrepancies
Assisting with general accounting tasks including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing
Prepare and organize sales, product, and financial data in Excel to support reporting needs.
Calculate landed costs on inventory receipts and assist with inventory analysis
Perform other projects or duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
2+ years of prior accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably with inventory knowledge.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, Pivot Tables/Charts, and familiarity with macros. Experience with Power Query is a plus.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Word, internet navigation, E-mail, and 10-Key skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated honesty, accountability, and strong character.
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with multi-tasking, prioritizing, and efficient time management.
Positive outlook on life and a good sense of humor.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Reliable and autonomous work ethic.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PT, with some flexibility.
