Under general supervision of the Principal, provide Summerville Union High School District's school staff and faculty with superior customer service, including the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of computing systems including hardware, software and peripherals; coordinate device, textbook and learning material distribution and collection, including inventory and documentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
Coordinate hardware maintenance and repair activities and perform routine device and peripheral (desktop, laptop, printers) maintenance; install desktop software and upgrades; troubleshoot desktop applications and install peripherals.
Provide technical assistance to teachers, staff, and students on using computers, tablets, printers, and software programs.
Assist with maintenance of cloud based services including textbook inventory program, content management system, mobile device management, and Google Apps for Education.
Demonstrate self-motivation and work well in a high-paced environment.
Inventory control, ordering, distribution, and tracking of books, materials, and tech devices
Ability to research information regarding telecommunications, computers and networks
Coordinate textbook, hardware and software purchases with the district office. Obtain quotes, submit requisitions and assist with receiving duties when items arrive.
